520 _aWhilst welcoming the increased use of computer by valuers over the past five years, the article notes that problems have arisen where knowledge of valuation and computing in the profession have not matched. As the software, and spreadsheets are the market`s choice, is either too specialised or basic, many valuers are having to devise their own programs. This article reports on the findings of a study group convened to direct research and training.
