520 _aChD 29 July 1992. Raises question of whether an arbitrator`s award determining the market rent of a property is admissible evidence in another rent review relating to a comparable property. The premises in question Westminster City Hall in Victoria Street are let to the defendant tenant Westminster CC on a 99-year lease by plaintiff landlord Land Securities plc. Lease provides for rent review at which the rent is to be fixed at two thirds of the fair market rack rent at the review date. The review which took place in March 1991 was referred to arbitration. The arbitrator issued directions that normal rules of evidence should apply. During the course of the hearing, L discovered that another arbitrator had issued an interim award in a rent review between Pearl Assurance plc and SoS for Environment determining the market rent on another office building in Victoria Street and applied to the arbitrator for leave to adduce the other arbitrator`s award as evidence of the rental value of th
