520			_aIt was held, in Appleton v Aspin and Others CA 19 November 1987, that even when a landlord had agreed to sell premises with vacant possession to a purchaser, and at the same time the tenant, under a protected tenancy agreed with the purchaser not to enforce against him a right of possession, the court could not grant possession to the purchaser as against the tenant, unless conditions in Rent Act 1977 s98(1) were satisfied.
