520 _aThis paper provides a brief overview of the opportunities available to property corporates to obtain financing through a secured issue in the debt capital markets. The market is covered under three headings - the traditional UK debenture market, securitisation and the self-amortising debt market. Recent issues are discussed together with typical security and pricing criteria. The securitisation of 135 Bishopsgate is then considered in greater detail.
