520 _aIn Dudley MBC v Bailey , CA 18 May 1990, it was held that the form of the notice used by the council was substantially to the same effect as the prescribed form; it stated the ground on which possession was sought and the particulars of the ground, namely the failure to pay rent. At the date of the notice the landlord council acted in good faith. The requirement of particulars is satisfied if the landlord has stated in summary form the facts which he then intends to prove in support of the stated ground for possession.
