520			_aIn United Bank of Kuwait Ltd v Hammoud and others & City Trust Ltd v Levy , CA 29 June 1988, it was held that the court would enforce an undertaking, given by one partner in a firm of solicitors , against another partner in the same firm, if the undertaking had been given by the partner in his capacity as a solicitor, and if the giving of such an undertaking was an "act for carrying on in the usual way business of the kind carried on by the firm" within the meaning of the Partnership Act 1890 s5 .
