520 _aThe Ombudsman for Corporate Estate Agents has recommended against the Alliance & Leicester Property Services in claiming an on-going commitment to the payment of commission, even though the homeowners had disinstructed them. The buyer, introduced by Alliance & Leicester, made a successful offer for the property, when new agents had been instructed. The legal basis of the Alliance`s claim was not disputed, although there is no evidence that the continuing commitment was explained to the owners.
