520 _aThe Joseph Rowntree Foundation is championing the idea of lifetime homes for people with moderate physical disabilities. They are hoping for revisions to Part M of the Building Regulations. The hope is that all homes in the future will be built so that moderately disabled people will be able to live in them, however, they should be able to be easily adapted if the disability becomes more severe.
