Unaware of the issure of the order, the owner order a contractor to remove number of trees. The work was stopped by the council who told the owner that he would be prosecuted. The order was stopped, the council could not contend that the true cause of the prejudice was a failure by the owner to appreciate the likelihood of a tree preservation order being made. | ||
