520 _aAppeal by occupier (P) of shop inside supermarket on Isle of Dogs against decision of lvc. The premises were let as a shell, one of six inside the store; there is no shopfront, only a roller-shutter door. As the subject premises are inside the Asda store, the opening hours of the shop itself are limited to those of the store. 2 of the 6 units had never been let; the occupier of another had gone into liquidation. P maintains he was misinformed when negotiating the tenancy as to the number of customers likely to use the Asda store, the actual number being one third of the estimated figure. LT agreed with P that he had agreed too high a rent, but did not accept that the rent be reduced by the proportion which the actual number of customers passing through the Asda store bore to the estimated flow. VO`s zone A figure of £40 psm was reduced to £25 psm, fitting into the pattern for local shops.
