520 _aExamines the international performance of British construction companies during 1990-1996 based on a questionaire of senior executives in the largest British construction companies. The main findings indicate that British firms had increased their overseas activities during that period however the major share of this work was based in developed countries. It was suggested that shareholder influence was a major factor in this. References.
