520 _aChristie`s auction house has become involved in a listed-building dispute concerning a statue sold in a sale at Hackwood House. Basingstoke DC take the view that the statues are part of the fixtures and fittings of the grade II listed house. If the statues eventually have to stay the auction houses will have to consider the context potential lots are situated even if they are not physically attached to a listed building.
