| 520 | _aCA 11 December 1998. The plaintiffs (B) bought a property, their mortgagees having first commissioned a valuation report from the first defendants (P), which was carried out by the second defendant, a surveyor. Defects then came to light, and in 1994 B issued a writ against P, claiming that the report was negligent and that they had suffered loss in purchasing the property. P pleaded that the claim was time-barred under the Limitation Act 1980 S2 since it was more than 6 years since the cause of action accrued, and the judge agreed. B appealed. "Held" appeal dismissed. | ||
