Without suitable cover, for whatever reason, the employee is open to being sued by the client. Such a case has already come to court and shows that the same scenario will occur again; in view of this the RICS has supported the member's application for assistance for his appeal and has agreed to fund the appeal on behalf on its member. The result will be reported in a future edition of CSM.
