520 _aCA 27 June 2000. Flat occupied by tenant W suffered from mould growth on internal walls caused by condensation from water vapour. Concerned whether landlord's (G) obligation to maintain in good condition and repair was limited to structure only. Held that 'good condition' was not restricted to good structural condition and that by failing to provide thermal insulation or dry lining for external walls G allowed excessive condensation and severe black mould to continue and therefore failed to maintain the flat in good condition. CC decision upheld. Appeal dismissed.
