The original draft from April 2000 is updated in response to consultation responses and further flooding. The new draft has a stronger risk-based focus with the introduction of a sequential test for authorities and developers. The consultation document is available at: http://www.planning.detr.gov.uk/ppg/index.htm and will be open for the next four weeks with final publication likely in the Spring.
