520 _aRural land prices are expected to retain their current levels for the next three years according to a specialist forecasting model set up for "Farmland Market". Whilst farming incomes have fallen dramatically that the demand for land due to diversification and for other uses will prevent a collapse in land values. Figures from the RICS Rural Survey, however, show that the majority of chartered surveyors expect the price of land to fall, except in the residential sector.
