520 _aRICS has asked former OFT chief Sir Bryan Carsberg to lead a wide-ranging review of client/valuer relationships. Carsberg, will head a working party set up following controversy over valuers sparked by research by the Universities of Reading and Nottingham Trent, which questions the moral stance of some client/valuer relationships. Carsberg, who is heading a group being finalised now, will report back in Autumn 2001. Includes an explanation by Duncan Preston, chairman of the RICS Valuation Faculty, of his choice of Sir Bryan Carsberg for the RICS valuaton working group.
