Two S2 notices were accidentally saved simultaneoulsy by landlord (X) the first stating that an application for a new tenancy would not be opposed whilst the second opposed the application and was deemed to be invalid for failing to state the reason. A third notice opposing the application was issued. CA upheld the HC's decision that X was entitled to rely on the third notice. Tenant's Y appeal was dismissed.
