In 1987 the defendant H was an employee and allowed to live in a rent-free caravan. In 2000 B served notice to quit on H. The issue was whether H's plot was protected under the Mobile Homes Act 1983. Judge found H entitled to security of tenure. "Held", appeal allowed.
