| 520 | _aAccording to a new book - "Limited Liability Partnerships, a Guide for Professionals", 88% of architectural partnerships are considering changing to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). LLPs are a new form of company, permitted by legislation that came into force in April 2001, that were introduced to limit the financial liability of company members. The Centre of Construction Law and Management's text advises on steps a practice should take before registering as an LLP, and looks at the legal, financial and personnel issues involved. "Limited Liability Partnerships, a Guide for Professionals" is available for loan from the RICS Library. | ||
