Looks at the proposed review of the construction court, prompted by recommendations in a consultant's report for a new unified commercial court. The first stage is a consultation paper asking for opinions on the proposed location of the courts. A further proposal will follow on how the current specialist courts could share accommodation and resources. The Lord Chancellor will also be promoting London as a centre for international commercial dispute resolution. Urges industry players respond promptly to the consultation and proposals.
