Notes the British Council for Offices has just published a guide to good ergonomic practice, Best Practice for Offices, which argues the issue relates to good practice in the workplace. Argues that a balance should be struck between the human and the business and how cost effective the changes are as some of the alterations to the office environment can be very costly. People have to understand the dangers of the workplace though as accidents happen and the office is arguably as dangerous a place as a factory.
