520 _aContinued shortage of houses on the market has pushed prices up again with the growth rate hitting the highest level for two and a half years according to the latest RICS housing market survey for England and Wales - three months to June 2002. Number of houses on agents' books has fallen for the fifth consecutive month. Price inflation showed no sign of slowing but many contributors reported a slowdown in enquiries from new buyers. The survey is available at http://www.rics.org/downloads/Housing_Jun2002.pdf http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRelease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=774
