| 520 | _aExamines the Housing Market Renewal Fund, £500m directed towards nine low housing demand areas in the North of England. Goverment estimates there to be 880 000 owner-occupied and council/housing association owned homes in England which can be defined as low demand. Local authorities in these areas have been working on preliminary plans on how to spend the funding. Each of the nine pathfinder schemes will pursue a fairly independent path stabilising local housing markets, getting developers to revitialise whole locations; working sub-regionally inpartnership structures. | ||
