520			_aODPM restarts review of aggregates provision more than 18 months after it first began. The proposed figures will be 25% lower than current guidelines. ODPM says that the lower figures will lead to a fall in environmental impacts by cutting the rate at which new or current permissions are required. Head of natural resources at the Council for the Protection of Rural England attacked the figures arguing that large areas of the countryside lie vulnerable to quarrying.
