520 _aDiscusses the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility which is a new way of describing sustainability and diversity. Considers whether it is an innovative new idea which will lead to improved social attitudes and progress towards a better environment or if it just a gimmick designed to derail the protests of anti-globalisation protesters. Many companies such as Shell are now taking this idea very seriously with the thought that there is a further advantage in making these schemes work from the point of view of profit and the views of shareholders.
