| 520 | _aAs part of government's anti-cowboy builder initiative, Quality Mark, small building firms that specialise mostly in home improvements, can secure a reduction of 20% on their insurance premiums. The initiative also lists on a single national register the contact details of firms who have made the Quality Mark standard; the list is accessible either online at http://www.qualitymark.org.uk or +44 (0)845 3008040. To qualify for the discount on public and employers' liability insurance premiums, firms with up to 20 manual employees must first be successfully veted by the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS). Larger firms will not receive the discount but will benefit in other ways. | ||
