520			_a A guidance note has been produced to advise RICS members on how to calculate surveyors' fees to be reimbursed as part of a compulsory purchase claim after the abolition of Ryde's scale with effect from 18 July 2002. Fees in future will normally be assessed on a reasonable basis agreed between the parties. Separate guidance is provided for claims settled or made before 18 July 2002 and claims settled or made after 18 July 2002. Covers also other bases for calculating fees, time recording and disputes.
