520 _aExamines how London local authorities are measuring up to the high affordable housing quota for all major new housing developments demanded in the draft London Plan. The plan sets borough-by-borough affordable housing targets ranging from 35% to 50% and a London-wide minimum of 23 000 new homes to be built each year with at least 50% of them within reach of those with incomes between £15 000 and £30 000. Table gives council-by-council proposed plans for meeting the target. The final version of the London Plan will be published at the end of 2003 after an independent feasibility study and ODPM scrutiny.
