520 _aThe UK could be penalised again under the recent CAP reforms if tenants and landlords do not work together to safeguard subsidy entitlements, according to RICS. Under new measures, a high proportion of EU support payments will be decoupled from specific parcels of land as from January 2005. In the meantime, changes in occupation could lead to the loss of entitlements, thus adversely affecting both a vacating tenant and the owner of the freehold. http://www.rics.org/ricscms/bin/show?class=PressRelease&template=/includes/showpr.html&id=963&faculty=RICS
