The survey looked at the environmental behaviour of SMEs and was conducted for NetRegs, a website designed to help SMEs understand environmental legislation. Article discusses the findings of the survey under the following key areas: positive environmental measures; high risk activities; environmental policy, legislative awareness; environmental motivators; business benefits of environmental good practice; sources of advice and modes of communication. The survey concluded that many SMEs in the construction sector have low awareness of their environmental impact and want more information and advice on green issues.
