The report considers four areas: legislative reform, proposals for a code of good practice, fiscal reform and structural issues. Under legislative reforms, TRIG has considered issues of rent, compensation, business and agricultural conditions, section 4(1)(f) and notice periods. TRIG is also pressing for greater freedom for tenants to diversify on tenanted land and fairer tax system to level the playing field between tenancies and other means of land management.
