520 _aThe latest half-yearly survey of developers' intentions by DTZ shows that the lack of tenant demand has forced central London developers to reduce speculative development by 33% from six months ago. This is the fourth consecutive survey to record a drop and is greater than the previous six months' 15%. The survey examined 155 office schemes over 25 000sq ft with a total of 36.4m sq ft across central London, the fringes and Docklands which have planning permission but are not yet under construction.
