520 _aThe seasonally adjusted estimate of retail sales volume in August was 140.5 (1995-100), which was 0.2% above July and 3.8% higher than August 2002. The volume of sales for June to August was 1.8% higher than the previous three months and 4.9% greater than in the same period a year earlier.
