520			_aThe seasonally adjusted chained volume index for the three months to February was 0.6% lower than in the previous three months. Output for manufacturing in the last three months was down 0.3% and in mining and quarrying was down by 2.1%. Also down in the same period was the output of the consumer durable goods industries which fell by 1.8% and was 0.8% lower compared with one year ago. The output of the capital goods industries fell by 0.8% but it was 1.8% higher than in the same period a year ago.
