| 520 | _aComments on proposals currently out for consultation by the Land Registry for the introduction of prescribed information in registrable leases. These include a new form L1 containing specific information about a lease which will be attached to a lease and form an integral part of the lease document together with a set of prescribed clauses which will form the front sheet to the lease. The consultation proposals also suggest including optional information in lease relating to rent, service charges, repairing requirements/provisions, permitted use of property and restrictive covenants which would not such be included on the register. Workspace Group views the proposals as being unrealistic noting that they could confuse rather than to provide clear clarification.
