520 _aExamines "Planning advice note 70: electronic planning service delivery" (PAN 70), also known as the e-PAN, issued in November 2004, which is part of the Scottish Executive's range of actions to promote e-planning in Scottish planning authorities within the wider context of the Executive's e-government strategy. The e-PAN aims to identify how new technology can improve the delivery of the planning service by providing services electronically and describes the range of matters that can usefully be handled electronically and included on planning websites. It also seeks consistency in planning websites. The article also lists the Executive's other current measures directly related to e-planning.
