520 _aLooks at the changing thinking on the form, use, development and identity of the real estates of UK higher education institutions. Research to date has focused on higher education's contribution to local and regional job creation, income and export earnings but attention is now being directed on the universities' role in regional development and the complex relationship between university and host city or region.
