520 _aDiscusses the case "Wessex Reserve Forces and Cadets Association v White and another" ([2005] 22 EG 132, L130038) where the landlords failed to oppose the renewal of a business lease on the grounds that they intended to demolish the premises. The court found that certain buildings on the site were chattels of the tenant and that the landlords had failed to show a genuine intention to demolish the premises and a reasonable prospect of being able to bring about such a demolition by their own act or volition.
