520 _aPresents the findings of the 2005 "Inside Housing" survey of the top 50 housing association developers in England, the only comprehensive survey of housing association development funded from all sources. The 2005 survey shows very little change from the 2004 survey with only four new entries at the bottom end of the league table, the least since the first analysis in the late 1980s. The lack of movement is not surprising as associations have just moved into the second year of guaranteed allocations and preferred partnering, which the article comments on. However this autumn's bidding for the 2006/08 programme is open to all including private developers resulting in the biggest change in funding since private finance was introduced in 1988. London and Quadrant Group with its affordable housing ownership subsidiary, Tower Homes, again takes the number one spot. League table of top 50 developers.
