Membership of the Scheme acts both as proof that a worker is competent to do their job, and that they have achieved a basic level of site safety awareness. The RICS has already introduced professional routes for obtaining a CSCS card for quantity and building control surveyors, and is currently working on a route for chartered building surveyors.
