These proposals consist of a ban by the Cairgorms National Park Authority to block people from outside the area from buying properties. This article draws attention to the regulatory framework of the European Community Treaty (TEC). It is argued that this needs to be respected not only by the central government or legislature, but by all regulatory and other authorities established within the Member States.
