520 _aSuper-flexible housing is an innovative feature in Milton Keynes's draft Tattenhoe Park masterplan, where up to 30% of all the proposed dwellings will be designed as super-flexible homes. Super-flexible homes will accommodate changing family circumstances or lifestyle changes over time and will obviate the need to move. Space in houses designed to super-flexible principles can be arranged and then potentially re-arranged to meet future requirements with less need for expensive refitting. The discussion paper describes what super-flexible housing is and considers best practice and policy The draft Tattenhoe Park masterplan, which is out for consultation, proposes a new neighbourhood of over 1 200 new homes with shops, community facilities, public open space and a new primary school. Responses to the consultation must be made by 2 February 2006.
