| 520 | _aReviews the results of Investment Property Forum (IPF) commissioned research into the degree of uncertainty in property market forecasts of rents and returns and into the range of forecasters' expectations. The researchers analysed the IPF's survey of property forecasters 1999-2004 and also compared the performance of the property forecasters with the predictions of non-property forecasters. There was little evidence of consistent superiority or inferiority among individual forecasting organisations. Property market forecasters are frequently caught out by major turns in the market but can get rental growth spot on. | ||
