520 _aAnalysis of detailed data from nearly 1 700 new homes reveals that snags damage the image of house builders, detract from customer satisfaction and reduce the potential profit on each house, as builders absorb the costs of both snagging which is remedied during the course of construction and on hand-over. In addition, the analysis shows that there is a direct relationship between size of property and the number of snags identified.
