| 520 | _aReports on the formation of the Property Maintenance Network (PMN), an alliance of small and medium sized regional contractors, which aims to compete with national firms in offering clients a comprehensive maintenance service. Each member of the PMN has to agree to a strict code of ethics covering core service issues. Regular meetings between the client and main contractor monitor progress, with the latter remaining responsible for work done by other companies in the PMN. At present, the PMN concentrates on reactive and routine maintenance work, and has no plans to move into new construction. | ||
