520 0 0 _aPresents the full results from the June 2006 HBF regional survey of house builders. Although the number of site visitors fell in comparison with a year ago and the balance reporting a rise in reservations weakened in June, prices continued to rise and the use of sales incentives did not accelerate. The market remains fairly strong with the World Cup having only a short-term impact on home buyer interest. The industry expects house prices to rise over the coming year and remains optimistic about 2006 sales. Planning delays remain the biggest factor holding back supply but land availability and prices have also become more problematic. Charts and tables.
