The amendment puts to rest concerns over the unrestricted construction of mezzanines and local planning authorities now have tighter control over the expansion of retail floorspace. Certificates of lawfulness of the proposed use or development of mezzanines issued before the 10 May are ineffective unless they are implemented before that date. | ||
