Strong activity in the civil engineering sector was a key factor behind the overall increase, with the civil engineering index reaching 71. The residential and non-residential indices also increased from January 2007, by six points and eight points respectively. Forecasts remain optimistic, with a gradual slowdown predicted for the coming months.
